So it think it's time for an end of the world update.

Amademajad is meeting with Chavez and Castro, a great big drunken orgy of telling americans to fuck off and how they plan to kill us all.

9/11 was this monday, and apparently we will never let this go. 5 years people, as terrible as this makes me sound, get over it. If you lost someone then i can understand what the date brings back for you, but for everyone else who was at work and just had to go home early that day, do we really need to keep reminding the nation? this country is just going to turn into a giant 9/11 memorial. I honor those people so much, and yet Osama bin Laden is still on the lose, interesting.

anyway,

im glad i finally found new friends and everything after the worst summer of my life. im especially glad for the people who stuck with me. i know jenn cant read this but i appriciate her to no end, shes one of the only people i could honestly say i'd do anything for (id underline that but i dont know how to do that)

school started. senior year is so weird, i have 2 books. i can drive to school soon. this will be a wierd year for sure. karma is a lovely thing.

i see him going to the bus stop sometimes in the morning, which is really awkward, but luckily i'll be driving on monday to avoid that.

I apologize, the papers here are 200+ years old so they make sure to keep extra good care of them. The lighting is fixed to be the light of 2 candles from 1 foot away (2 footcandles) and i wasn't allowed to use a flash so the texts will be pretty impossible to read.

this is the hope diamond. it's one of the most valuable jewels on the planet. it's so shiny i couldnt get the picture to come out right. when we saw this, my dad jokingly said "it's alright i guess..." and this little girl gave him the most confused look, it was funny

i hate giraffes.

when i saw this, i kiddingly said to my dad, HEY DAD THIS IS WHERE THE FAKED THE MOON LANDING, and some little kid ran to his mom and screamed out, THE MOON ISNT REAL?!?!?

this is the museum of art. they had some interesting pieces, but i wasnt allowed to take photos so you'll have to use your imagination. it made me realize that art gets pretty repetitive. it seems to me that everything is either a portrait, a landscape, a flower, or fruit.

Mt. Vernon was pretty awesome. It's hard to put everything into context. Looking at George Washington's death bed, seeing the actual key to the Bastille the Marquis sent him, it was awe inspiring really. Mt. Vernon is where George Washington lived when he wasnt in a war or running the country.
